In the first quarter of 2022, foreign direct investment (FDI) in Morocco added up to an approximate value of 21.9 billion Moroccan dirhams (MAD), roughly two billion U.S. dollars. The industry sector received the highest amount of investments, reaching over 9.9 billion MAD, around 930 million U.S. dollars. Moreover, the real estate sector obtained an FDI in the value of nearly 3.2 billion MAD, approximately 300 million U.S. dollars.
