In a survey conducted among artisans during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in Morocco, it was revealed that the revenue obtained by the artisans dropped by ** percent during the lockdown period. Moreover, in the three months following the period of lockdown, the revenue growth rate stood at minus ** percent. The artisans' revenue fell further by ** percent six months after the national lockdown. Overall in Morocco, close to *** million people were employed in the crafts industry as of 2018.
