As of 2021, Intesa Sanpaolo was the Italian bank with the largest value of risk-weighted assets (RWAs) among the *** largest banks in Italy. Intesa's RWAs amounted to almost *** billion euros in 2021. Unicredit S.p.A. followed, with risk weighted assets amounting to roughly *** billion euros.
