According to the results of a survey among the organizations hit by ransomware attacks in the past 12 months, out of ten ransomware attacks in the United Kingdom (UK) resulted in data encryption as of 2025. This was the largest share among the surveyed countries. To compare, the data encryption rate in ransomware attacks in South Africa stood at ** percent, while in India it was measured at ** percent.
