Supplementary notes
* There was no measurement in 1993. In 1992-2002 the question was: "Did you go on at least a one-week vacation this year?" and in 2003-2011: "Have you gone on at least a one-week vacation this year or do you still intend to go on at least a one-week vacation?" For 2012-2020, respondents were asked after the end of the year to characterize their vacation trips (up to seven), including how many days each trip lasted.
