A report on book readership in France found that most respondents preferred to buy printed books and physical audiobooks new, with 95 percent of book readers aged 15 and older buying new printed books and 62 percent purchasing new physical audiobooks. Meanwhile, less than 50 percent of survey participants borrowed books in either format from libraries, though second-hand purchasing was also a popular option.
