During a 2021 survey fielded in Brazil, ** percent of the responding female internet users reported a high level of Zoom fatigue. Despite being named after the software developed by Zoom Video Communications, the term "Zoom fatigue" refers to a state of tiredness related to one's self-image during online video calls and meetings in general. Among male respondents in Brazil, the share was nearly three times lower and added up to *** percent. As of January 2021, over one-third of social media users in Brazil were women aged between 18 and 44 years.
