During a 2021 survey fielded in Brazil, around ** percent of responding WhatsApp users said they were clients of Banco do Brasil, Nubank, and/or Sicredi and would like to use WhatsApp Pay. This division of Facebook, Inc. planned to release the mobile payment solution in Brazil in cooperation with the three banks aforementioned by the end of the first half of 2021. Meanwhile, ** percent of respondents stated that they used credit and/or debit cards issued by those banks, but they did not intend to use WhatsApp Pay.
