According to a 2020 study, around **** of the workforce in Guatemala and El Salvador had occupations with a high risk of being replaced by automation. The share of employees likely to be replaced by robots stood above ** percent for all the Latin American countries reported. Nevertheless, the probability of labor automation in Latin America drops considerably when considering tasks, instead of occupations.
