The so-called Olympic Virtual Series would feature video game-based competitions across five different sports - auto racing, baseball, cycling, rowing and sailing. During an April 2021 survey in the United Kingdom, just four percent of respondents stated that they would be extremely likely to watch an event from the Olympic Virtual Series, while 43 percent claimed that they would be not at all likely to follow the eSports events.
