According to a 2021 survey, contactless cards came in first place in terms of digital payment preference in Hong Kong and Taiwan, with respectively ** and ** percent of consumers for it. In the meantime, ** percent of consumers living in Macao preferred paying using mobile QR codes. On the other hand, payment using store value cards remained the least preferred in all three surveyed regions.
