Viewers of channels streaming music content on Twitch increased drastically during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In February 2021, music channels on Twitch had around ** thousand viewers on average - almost five times as many as in the same month a year earlier. However, while the number is still higher than before the pandemic, it has fallen below *** thousand again by fall 2024.
