Grenoble was the most bike-friendly big-sized city (between 100,000 and 200,000 inhabitatns) in France according to its residents. This city that lies at the foot of the French Alps was rated 4.12 out of 6 possible points. According to the organizers of the survey, the threshold for a positive response was set at 3.5 out of 6. Grenoble was, thus, the only city having 100,000 to 200,000 inhabitants that obtained a positive score. Angers came second among French big-sized cities, nevertheless, with a score just shy of 0.12 points of a positive score.
