India's financial year begins in April and ends in March. For example, FY 2020 started in April 2019 and ended in March 2020.
In financial year 2020, the gross fixed capital formation (GFCF) in the Indian infrastructure excluding the construction sector amounted for **** trillion Indian rupees. The investments in infrastructure are included into the National Infrastructure Pipeline (NIP) plan of the Indian government and aim at providing infrastructure for economic development as well as attracting investments from other contributors. The forecasted investments are based on the NIP schedule.
