The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic disrupted travel plans worldwide, affecting the comfort levels of traveling. According to a December 2020 survey, only one-third of the interviewed business travelers in the United States would feel comfortable attending conventions or conferences in January 2021. In contrast, about 64 percent of respondents would be comfortable visiting conventions in September 2021.
