Reasons why French parents do not offer their son so-called "girl" toys 2019
In 2019, slightly less than ** percent of French parents with a boy said that he already owned so-called "girl" toys, compared to more than ** percent who did not yet have or did not wish to buy "girl" toys for their son. While most parents ( percent) reported that they did not spontaneously think about it, although they were not opposed to it, approximatively ** percent of them explained it by the fact that boys' tastes did not lend themselves to it. In 2019, almost ten percent of parents in France did not want their son to play with toys intended to be for girls.
