Reasons why French parents do not offer their daughter so-called "boy" toys 2019
In 2019, slightly more than ** percent of French parents with a daughter said that she already owned so-called "boy" toys, compared to approximatively ** percent who did not yet have or did not wish to buy "boy" toys for their daughter. While most parents ( percent) reported that they did not spontaneously think about it, although they were not opposed to it, almost ** percent of them explained it by the fact that their daughter's tastes did not lend themselves to it. In 2019, around eight percent of parents in France did not want their daughter to have toys intended to be for boys.
