The E-Government Development Index (EGDI) is calculated as the average of the Online Service Index (OSI), Human Capacity Index (HCI), and Telecommunications Infrastructure Index (TII) which are normalized to fall within the range of 0 to 1.
In 2020, Australia had the highest E-Government Development Index Score (EGDI) in Oceania with a score of 0.94. The EGDI is based on three components: online service index, telecommunication infrastructure index, and the human capital index.
