The original survey was held for an academic student thesis in May 2019. Shared mobility as a topic does not have a lot of research from big institutions in the Netherlands. The source does not specify whether this survey will return for 2020 or future years.

Familiarity with shared mobility in the Netherlands in 2019
Of the three main means of shared transport in the Netherlands, shared bicycles were the most popular in 2019. Nearly thirty percent of the respondents to a Dutch survey indicated that they had used a shared bicycle at least once. In contrast, shared cars had only been used by percent of the respondents, whereas e-scooter use was even lower than that. The latter is explained by the fact that electric scooters in the Netherlands are close to being illegal - because they have to adhere to various strict rules, there have not been any large e-scooter platforms in the Netherlands as of 2020.
