More than half of the respondents to a Dutch survey in 2019 did not expect that shared mobility will replace the 'regular' ownership of cars in the future. Even though most people in the Netherlands foresaw a growth in shared mobility and MaaS (Mobility-as-a-Service) initiatives, they did not expect that vehicle sharing would trump private ownership.
