With the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the majority of the countries worldwide are expected to have negative effects on their economy. The same is predicted for the Tunisian economy. The projection for the inflation rate in 2020 was revised to percent, under a worst-case scenario, where the outbreak persists till the end of the year. Before the occurrence of the coronavirus, the outlook was at *** percent. For 2021, the projected inflation rate was reviewed to percent, also considering the worst-case scenario. Previously, a *** percent inflation rate was projected.
