U.S. adults approving social sites labeling politicians' posts as inaccurate 2020
A June 2020 found that ** percent of Democrat-identifying adults in the United States strongly approved of social media companies labeling posts on their platform from elected officials as inaccurate or misleading. In contrast, only percent of survey respondents who identified as Republican reported the same thing. This gap is another example of the increasing polarization of politics in the United States, and the erosion of the trust in news.
