Between 2007 and 2017, the number of annual trips made by train and metro in Paris and ÃŽle-de-France progressively increased. In 2017, nearly three billion trips were made by railway in Paris and in ÃŽle-de-France, compared with approximatively 2.6 billions ten years before. However, there was a slight decrease in 2018 and 2019.
