Between 2007 and 2017, the number of annual passenger-kilometers traveled by RER, trains and metro in Paris and Île-de-France progressively increased. In 2017, around 27.3 billion passenger-kilometers were traveled by RER, trains and metro in Paris and Île-de-France, compared with approximatively 22.5 billions ten years before. However, there is a slight decrease sine 2018.
