In 2019, a survey in the United Kingdom found out that there is a correlation between the amount of hours a doctor works in a typical week, and the prevalence of ill mental health. According to the results, almost ** percent of doctors who worked more than ** hours per work reported to be suffering from depression, anxiety, burnout or stress which was affecting their work.
