More and more Chinese young people believe that a better appearance can boost their salaries and opt for beauty treatments and surgeries. In a medical aesthetics consumer survey conducted in March 2020, about ** percent of the Chinese respondents said they had purchased a skin and facial rejuvenation treatment, such as skin whitening, anti-aging and anti-wrinkles, as well as skin cleaning and hydration. Other popular medical aesthetics procedures were facial and body contouring.
