Botswana, which was the seventh-leading diamond exporting nation, ranked at a distant second-place among diamond producer countries, producing over *** million carats of diamonds the same year. The Kao mine located in Botswana was the world’s largest diamond mine in terms of production annual volume, with an estimated production of *** million carats of diamonds as of 2024. 

De Beers Diamond Consortium

De Beers is one of the leading diamond mining and trading companies in the world. The South African and British corporation, headquartered in London, generated an annual revenue of nearly billion U.S. dollars in 2022. De Beers' diamond production volume amounted to nearly ** million carats in 2023.
