An October 2019 survey of partnered adults in the United States found that 47 percent of Hispanic U.S. adults in relationships reported that they have looked through their current partner's cellphone without that person's knowledge. In comparison, only 31 percent of white U.S. adult in relationships reported that they had done the same thing.
