The data correspond to estimates from the Survey of Tourism of Residents of the National Statistics Institute of Spain. Since February 2015, this gives continuity to the Statistics of tourist movements of Spaniards (Familitur) of the General Subdirectorate of Knowledge and Tourist Studies of Spain.
* Displacements to places outside the habitual residence environment, for any reason, that imply at least one overnight stay and a duration of less than one year.
** Type of accommodation:
- Hotelier: hotels, aparthotels, pensions, hostels, motels, inns and guest houses.
- Rental property: complete rental properties (including tourist apartments) and rooms for rent in private homes.
- Other markets: rural tourism accommodation, hostels, camping sites and other market accommodation such as spas, student residences, etc.
- Other non-market: data not available.
