In 2019, the air freight and mail transport in Turkey amounted to over 1.5 million metric tons. The European Free Trade Association is a regional trade organization and free trade area consisting of four European states - Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland. The EFTA states signed a free trade agreement with Turkey.
