Since the state of alarm was declared in Spain due to COVID-19 in March 2020, healthcare workers have been on the front line to assist thousands of infected patients and try to save as many lives as possible. It comes as no surprise then that more than 98 percent of the population considers that this professional group has responded well or very well to the pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2. In contrast, only about 40 percent of respondents thought the Church reacted satisfactorily to the outbreak.
