3 from the Middle East;
2 from Africa;
2 from the Americas.

According to a survey among central banks, Chinese development and state-owned banks were the most involved institution in the implementation of BRI projects. The Belt and Road Initiative is a global development initiative introduced by the Chinese government in 2013 involving infrastructure construction and investment in nearly ** countries and organizations.
