In 2019, not-for-profit aged care organizations represented ** percent of the total number of organizations providing Home Care Packages (HCP) in Australia. From 2014 to 2016 the not-for-profits dominated the HCP provider market, however since the introduction of consumer directed care reforms to the aged care sector in 2017, for profit organizations have established a larger share in terms of numbers of organizations.
