Tunjangan Hari Raya, or THR allowance, is a mandatory allowance for employees in Indonesia. The amount is that of one month's salary, and paid out one week before the employee's religious holiday.
The Islamic month of Ramadan follows the lunar cycle. In 2022 it falls on April 3 and ends on May 2. Eid al Fitr falls on May 3.
