Russians on strengthened COVID-19 self-isolation measures 2020

According to the survey from April 2020, 70 percent of respondents across Russia expressed support for stricter regional control over people infected with the coronavirus (COVID-19) using digital tools, such as a CCTV face recognition system or GPS location tracking of phones. Among the mentioned measures, introduction of a criminal prosecution for the violation of the self-isolation regime or quarantine received the least support from Russians, measuring at less than 40 percent.
