According to a survey carried out in Argentina in March 2020, 78 percent of respondents preferred to shop in establishments located near their homes, as a result of the COVID-19 lockdown. Moreover, around seven out of ten respondents were paying more attention to prices and buying more non-perishable food in comparison to the previous month. Over two thirds of the Argentinians surveyed were also purchasing more disinfectant products.
