The coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic in Switzerland, specifically the restrictions implemented by the government to slow down the spread of the disease, have changed social interactions outside of the home. Based on a survey conducted among the Swiss population in March 2020, 60 percent responded they never spent time with people outside their homes, while 22 percent did so several times a day.
