According to data provided by the (IMAA) in a survey of private equity investors and professionals in the DACH region, over 50 percent of respondents indicated that they are looking to take advantage of the current COVID-19 situation by making cheap acquisitions. Pivate equity investors with fund sizes of over 500 million euros showed more resistance towards making an acquisition during this period. Instead, those with funds of eiither under 100 million or between 100 and 500 million euros showed more willingness to seize on opportunities of lower valuations.
