Leading factors influencing car purchasing in urban India 2019
Fuel economy or mileage was the leading factor influencing urban dwellers' car purchase decision across India according to the survey on urban mobility, with a ** percent respondent share. Energy efficiency seemed to be a more important criteria while making a purchase decision. Furthermore, respondents rated congestion, pollution and climate change as key externalities in urban commuting, indicating a need for these issues to be addressed.
