In fiscal year 2024, the U.S. B-visa refusal rate for Chinese citizens decreased further to around 25.4 percent from 30.4 percent in 2022 and 26.6 percent in 2023. In the end of 2014, the U.S. government extended the business and tourism visa validity to the Chinese citizens to ten years. As a result, the volume of B-visa applications from the Chinese citizens in the United States peaked in 2015.
