As a small country, the Netherlands is often caught between global powers. Do the Dutch believe it is more important to have a close relationship to the U.S. or to Russia? According to this survey, a large share of respondents believe it is most important to keep close relations with the United States. Only a small share of respondents favored strong relationships with Russia.
