Society issues stopping women from achieving gender equality in Russia 2019
In an survey about factors stopping women to achieve gender quality in 2019, more than a quarter of participants in Russia explained that women in their country did not receive enough help from their employers to manage work and care responsibilities. With the domestic violence being one of the major issues in the Russian society, ** percent of poll respondents blamed police authorities not taking violence against women seriously as an issue hindering gender equality.
