Indeed, as the graph shows, after starting at *** million euros in 2012, Italian families’ spending on pharmaceuticals and therapeutic devices covered by health insurance reached its lowest value in 2015, with *** million euros. This figure increased again in the following years and peaked at *** million euros in 2024.
