In 2018, Danes between 15 and 24 years were most inclined to use contraceptives when compared to the rest of the population. In detail, ** percent of the respondents in the youngest age group used contraceptives that year. Using contraception was generally less frequent among the older age groups. For example, ** percent of the male and female respondents between 35 and 44 years protected themselves when having sexual intercourse.
