In 2019, retail companies in Italy were not particularly interested in the applications of blockchain technology to their sector. In fact, none of the surveyed companies believed that blockchain represented an opportunity for them. However, one in *** respondents believed that it could find applications in other industries. One in **** companies dismissed blockchain technologies as not yet ready for industry applications.
