In two of the largest Russian cities, Moscow and Saint Petersburg, the share of the population using cashless payment methods to buy goods and services daily, was the highest across the country, with ** percent of the respondents opting for named method of payment in June 2019. In villages, the traditional payment method prevailed, as ** percent of the participants said they made such purchases with cash.
