Reusable shopping bags were used by **** percent of households with members aged between 45 to 64 years in New Zealand in the first quarter of 2019. The share of households that used reusable bags increased rapidly across all age groups, preceding a nationwide ''plastic bag ban'' that was implemented from July 1, 2019.
