Within the Asia-Pacific region, the 3G mobile connections share reached 17 percent in Bangladesh in 2023, followed by the Philippines with a 3G share of 11 percent. For these regions, the 3G share was still high compared to Indonesia, which already didn't have any 3G connection in 2023. For 2030, it was forecasted that the 3G will overall retire in almost all countries except for Bangladesh, the Philippines, Pakistan, and India.Â
