In a 2019 survey, members of the British public were asked what types of products they were trying to reduce their plastic usage. Of those surveyed, ** percent were trying to reduce their single-use plastic usage from fruit and vegetables.
In recent years, the discussion about plastic waste has been increasingly in the public eye. In the UK, it was found that TV programs were biggest influencer for making consumers think about the environmental and social impact of their food and drink packaging usage.
