According to ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ's global consumer survey as of 2025, cash payment remained prevalent among consumers at points-of-sale (POS) in the Asia-Pacific region, particularly in Southeast Asia, with the Philippines leading at ** percent. Notably, digital wallets were also popular mostly in Hong Kong, India, China, and Taiwan. QR code payments were utilized the most in Malaysia at ** percent.
